As a lifelong Davison resident, Genesee County Commissioner and active member of his community, David Martin knows the issues impacting us. After a career spent in public service, Dave has experience representing our community and working across the aisle to deliver results.

After graduating from Davison High School (class of 1979), Dave enlisted in the Air Force, retiring honorably as a Master Sergeant. When he returned to Michigan, Dave worked as security director at the Pontiac Silverdome and on several automotive corporate security teams.

Dave joined the Davison City Council in 2009, the Genesee County Commission in 2016, and the Michigan House of Representatives in 2020. As an elected official with a proven track record, Dave is proud to be a consistent voice for reduced regulation and smaller government.
